The Ortur Laser Master 2 Pro is one of the most popular high end diode laser engravers. In this review we will put it to the test to see if it deserves the higher price tag. Is it really worth 100$ more than the competitors? I compared the performance to Sculpfun S9, S6 Pro and the Atomstack A5 Pro.

I tested the machine with a standard wood engraving pattern (power scale, interval test and photo engraving), a focus distance test, and plywood and hardwood cutting test. I also measured the focus spot size by engraving a test pattern on anodized aluminium and used a microscope to measure the beam size.
